In another milestone for NextUp.com, we are proud to release version 1.0 of GroupsAloud.  GroupsAloud is a truly unique product on the internet, combining the wealth of information and community of UseNet with the speed and ease of Text To Speech.  Usenet Newsgroups are a huge collection of communities on the internet where people around the world gather to speak on narrow subjects including almost anything you can imagine.  By searching the list of newsgroups, you find those groups you are interested in and then subscribe.  Instead of receiving lots of emails like user forums and mailing lists, you'll simply let GroupsAloud retrieve messages and comments from group members.  You can read them, have them spoken aloud, or even create audio files from interesting threads so you can keep up with the discussions when you are away from the PC.
