Speak titles rather then spell
Many books or articles have chapter titles or the first few words of the chapter in all caps. For example; "I AM ..." is said "I A.M...." rather than "I am..." or "ON THAT DAY....." is said "O.N. that day..." rather than "On that day..." I ...

Re: *.csv vs. *.chl Dictionaries
Jim The Phoneme Helper Test Button works about half the time on the first click after creating a Phoneme. I don't know if this is because many of the words that I am trying to fix are Biblical words that are from the old King's English. So the button does work part of the time on the first click, ju...

Re: *.csv vs. *.chl Dictionaries
Jim Just a followup on the Phoneme Helper Test Button. I found that once the Phoneme was created and I clicked the OK Button; then clicked back on the Phoneme Helper Button; the Phoneme Helper Test Button gives the sound of the Phoneme. Weird. Maybe you only need to work on the Phoneme Helper Test B...

Re: *.csv vs. *.chl Dictionaries
Jim I had already used the Phoneme Helper Button to build a Phoneme and when I clicked on the Test Button it acted like it was testing the Phoneme but no sound came out. So I assumed that Phonemes were not supported with Bridget. So with your suggestion I went ahead and built the Phoneme and saved i...

*.csv vs. *.chl Dictionaries
Jim, Percy, As you know when TA3 installs, it puts the dictionary in the directory C:\......\Dictionaries\ with a *.chl extension. When Bridget from NeoSpeech installs it creates the following 3 files, one of which is a dictionary with a *.csv extension. The 3 Installed files: UserDicBre.exe is the ...

Re: same word, diff. pronunciation
Thank you Percy :!: I got it to work with read, wind, and lives! But wow, this means you must stop and create this regex expression every time you hear a mispronounced word. Your P.S. at the end really simplifies it but is this the only way? I have used TA since version 2.1 and tried to get wo...

Re: same word, diff. pronunciation
Percy I have been using the Pronunciation Dictionary Maintenance for years but have never gotten it to take the same word, but with different pronunciation within the grammatical structure of a sentence, when the same word is within a single passage, paragraph or book, and get it to say it correctly...

same word, diff. pronunciation
Jim, How do you get a voice to read words spelled the same, and get them correct within the grammtic sturcture? Such as: I would like to "read" that book. I have already "read" that book. Or The "wind" is blowing through the trees. I am going to "wind" up a ba...

Re: Weird pronuciations
Jim Turning off the dic did not help. Using NeoSpeech Paul gave no problems at all. Paul got "The next day..." right and "abode" correct as well. So what I did was, even though these are direct quotes from the KJV Bible, I changed "The next day...." to "The followi...

Weird pronuciations
Jim, I have just come across some very weird pronunciation and dictionary problems with TA3.047 A sentence starts with: The next day John sees Jesus coming… But it is pronounced as: "Your" next day John sees Jesus coming. Why would Bridget from NeoSpeech substitute "Your" for &qu...
