Error accessing the OLE registry

Post by Jim Bretti »

Occasionally we see this error when TextAloud is started following a new install. It normally means that there was a problem with the install, and reinstalling TextAloud should fix it. You can always download the current TextAloud installer from http://www.nextup.com/files/ta3.exe.

If you are running Vista or Windows 7, and reinstalling does not fix the problem, follow these instructions: right click the desktop shortcut or start menu entry you normally use to launch TextAloud, and select "Run As Administrator" from the popup menu. This should cause TextAloud to start with no errors. Exit TextAloud immediately, then see if you are able to launch TextAloud normally.

If this doesn't help send us an email at support@nextup.com
