Skype - free phone calls to US and Canada thru end of year

Many NextUp Talker users are interested in ways to use the program over the telephone. Skype recently announced free telephone calls to landlines / mobile phones anywhere in the US and Canada through the end of this year. For more information see

Using the sound mixer on your computer, it is possible to direct the spoken audio generated by NextUp Talker to Skype, allowing you to make phone calls from your computer. For instructions on setting this up, see the following post:
