Yes. LetMeType works with Talker.

LetMeType is free software; you can redistribute it and/or modify it under the terms of the GNU General Public License as published by the Free Software Foundation; either version 2 of the License, or (at your option) any later version.

LetMeType helps you enter frequently-typed text strings. Running in the background in your system tray, it analyzes what you type. After a bit, it has collected enough information to guess a word after you have typed the first two or three letters. A list of the most probable words is displayed in a pop-up box. Select one with a single keystroke or just continue typing. LetMeType works independently of the program you enter the text into, be it a word processor, the editor of a development environment, or a dialog box field. It works best for long words or phrases that are often typed, making it well-suited for software developers and people who use a lot of technical terms. Options let you set the maximum number of suggestions and their frequency, limit the suggestions to long words with a high probability, and gradually increase the number of suggestions.

I also just tried out the demo version of the one below. Overall I think it is easier to use with Talker, but it costs $300. Its worth trying the demo version and see if the added convenience is worth it for you.
