When I install a new version of TextAloud it forgets the customization I have made of menus.
To be specific, I added Voice Options and Dictionary Maintenance to the Standard Toolbar. These both disappeared after upgrade.
I have now created a new toolbar and added the options to it.
I will see what happens on the next upgrade...
