Fast computer, 12GB Ram
I recently updated to the latest version 3.0.82 and have noticed that after clicking on the desktop icon to launch the program a delay of 10 or so seconds occurs. Sometimes it doesn't even run and I have to click again. After the first successful launch all the next ones are immediate. This sequence happens again after rebooting or not using the computer some hours. As far as I recall this didn't happen when I first installed the program months ago.
Any ideas?

Not sure what the problem could be. Once TextAloud is up and running after this happens, please send a TextAloud problem report. From the TextAloud menu, click Help -> Support -> Report A Problem, and in the problem report text just make a brief reference to this issue. Hopefully the problem report will give me some ideas of where to look.
