Occasionally we hear that pasting text into TextAloud from the Windows clipboard does not work. In every case, the problem has turned out to be related to anti-virus software. It is possible that anti-virus software detects that TextAloud is monitoring the Windows clipboard, treats this as suspicious behavior, and blocks clipboard access.
The last few times we've seen this problem, the anti-virus software being used was Webroot. If you happen to use Webroot as your anti-virus, there is some place in settings where you configure application protection ... you need to switch TextAloud from 'Denied' to 'Allowed'. If you're using a different anti-virus look for a similar protection option.
