Would you give it another try? I submitted the 4.0.1 installer to Avira for analysis, and I just received the results saying the installer is clean.
I run every installer through the tests at virustotal.com before releasing, here is a link to the 4.0.1 results:

Hi,
I just did run the downloaded TextAloud 4.01 and on my laptop was clean, but on PC it was showing Trojan horse. After I've updated the Avira on the PC it is clean now, so all is well now.
