Cannot Delete Article midway

I understand the PAUSE button takes the place of both the PAUSE and STOP buttons ... but how do I delete an article if I pause part way through reading it? I used to be able to press the STOP and DELETE buttons (in that order) to clear the slate. Version 4 does not delete the article if I Pause part way through reading it. Am I missing something?

You should be able to delete an article after clicking the pause button, I verified here. Can you check the TextAloud version you're running (Help -> About) and make sure you're using the current version? If the version displayed is earlier than 4.0.19, update using the installer at https://nextup.com/files/ta4.exe.

If you're seeing the problem in 4.0.19, please send a TextAloud problem report after clicking the delete button fails. From the TextAloud menu click Help -> Support -> Report A Problem and just reference this issue in the problem report text.
