Thanks for adding IPA phonemes to TA4; I use this option a lot with my Ivona voices where it works extremely well.
As an example an entry in the respell box for phaeton would be:
<phoneme alphabet="ipa" ph="fˈiː:tən"/>
To save a lot of repetitive typing (or copying and pasting) I am wondering if it would be possible to arrange for a simple click on say 'IPA' instead of 'respell' and then enter the IPA string fˈiː:tən

Re: IPA phonemes with Ivona voices
Thanks for the suggestion, we'll look at adding this. In case you're interested, the ssml phoneme tag you're using also recognizes the x-sampa alphabet, which may be easier to enter from the keyboard. For example, alternate pronunciations of the word "pecan" look like this:
<phoneme alphabet='x-sampa' ph='pI"kA:n'>pecan</phoneme>
<phoneme alphabet='x-sampa' ph='"pi.k{n'>pecan</phoneme>
<phoneme alphabet='x-sampa' ph='pI"kA:n'>pecan</phoneme>
<phoneme alphabet='x-sampa' ph='"pi.k{n'>pecan</phoneme>
