Textaloud is reading all css in webimages

when text aloud is reading a webpage it will read the entire syntax when it gets to an image, it will say its width height code etc...is there any way to create a filter or rule to dissable this

Are you seeing this issue in the extension for Chrome? If the page does not require a login, Is is possible to send a link to a page so I can give it a try myself? You can post here or email me at jim@nextup.com

Hi Jim heres an example page, but i have tried multiple sites and this issue keeps coming up it gets to an image then spends 20 seconds reading through all the css

Thanks for the example Andrew, the extension is simply not excluding html image tags. I'll look at fixing this, but I think you should be able to work around the problem for now using a TextAloud pronunciation dictionary entry. Go to the TextAloud main window, and from the main menu click Control Center -> Pronunciation Dictionary Maintenance.

Then create a pronunciation dictionary entry that filters html image tags like this:

Set the Text Matching dropdown to "Regular Expression", and for the expression, use this:
<img.*?>

Then set the Pronounce Using dropdown to "Skip Text".

That seems to work when I try it here, let me know if this doesn't work for you.
