What is the AT&T natural voice Pro Engine?

If I go on the purchase page for Text Aloud 4, there is a line of text that says that I can buy the AT&T voice pro engine along with Text Aloud for an additional 25 dollars. What does that do? Thank you.

AT&T Natural Voices are voices you can use with TextAloud. If you purchase TextAloud alone, the product does not include voices, it will only be able to use voices you already have installed, including the Microsoft Sapi5 voices included with Windows. When you purchase TextAloud you have the option of adding AT&T Natural Voices (Mike & Crystal) for $25 and/or Acapela Voices (Ryan & Sharon) for $35.
