Troubleshooting problems with TextAloud Extension for Chrome

Here are some things to try if you're having problems with the TextAloud Extension for Chrome.

First, in Chrome, open the page chrome://extensions and see if the TextAloud extension is installed. It is possible the extension is installed and you just need to enable it. In some cases we have heard that the extension is actually enabled but does not appear in the Chrome window. When this happens, disabling the extension and re-enabling usually solves the problem. So either enable the extension, or disable and re-enable.

Another possible problem may be that the TextAloud icon needs to be pinned to the toolbar. Immediately to the left of your profile avatar click the "Extensions" button. (Your profile avatar is located on the far right of the toolbar). Locate "TextAloud for Chrome" in the popup displayed by the Extensions button, and see if you are able to pin the extension.
