32G of Ram and TextAloud
Why should a user with 32G of Ram, have to wait forever for TextAloud to start reading?

Your analysis of the problem is all wrong.
If TextAloud is the only program running and you have a TextAloud dictionary with appropriately 100,000 entries which is trying to read a large article the problem will occur: TextAloud will take from half an hour to two hours to start reading the article which is forever unless you have nothing better to do with your time.
And yes this is a problem that TextAloud can easily fix (I do not need good-luck).
TextAloud had a fix for this problem in TextAloud3: Tools ---> Advanced Options ---> Advanced Settings ---> Use pronunciation dictionary performance optimizations (toggle value to Yes). I suspect this option is disabled in TextAloud4 or it has to be tweaked.
Any yes you need a least 100,000 entries in a TextAloud dictionary if you are creating a dictionary that other people can use.
P.S. Ivona's ReadSpeaker Lexicon Editor easily handles 100,000 regular expression entry files without any latency problems.
