Some of the stuff I read online has paragraph marks after every line return. This causes unnatural pausing when using Text Aloud. Is there a way to have TA ignore paragraph marks?
TIA

Re: Ignore Paragraph Marks
Some voices will pause at newline characters in the text. If that's the problem you're seeing there is a Speaking Rule you can configure in TextAloud that should help. From the TextAloud menu click Control Center -> Settings. In the left panel of the Settings dialog, expand Speaking Rules. Under Speaking Rules, click Text Filters. Then on the Text Filters panel, select the checkbox labeled "Filter Newline Characters". This should prevent a voice from pausing at every set of newline characters in the text.
Let me know if this doesn't help
