Word 2010 Ribbon

I'm sure that I use to have the Textaloud Word ribbon but now its gone and I don't know how to get it back. Any ideas?

Hi Alex,

First take a look at this troubleshooting faq: http://nextup.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?f=15&t=6154

If that doesn't help, you probably need to try reinstalling TextAloud. You can grab the latest installer from http://www.nextup.com/files/ta3.exe.

Let me know if that doesn't help.

I’m using Office Professional Plus 2010 version 14.0.4760.1000 (32-bit) and TextAloud 3.0.34

I used to have the TextAloud tab on my ribbon, but it’s gone!

I already do the tests recommended on the link above. It really is on the inactive list, but even when I try to enable it, nothing happens, it continue on the inactive list.

Did you try reinstalling TextAloud? If not, that might help ... use the installer at http://www.nextup.com/files/ta3.exe.

If reinstalling TextAloud doesn't help, we have a utility you can download that will let you remove the toolbar from Word completely, then add it back. See the post at http://nextup.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?f=15&t=6091 for instructions.

Let me know if this doesn't work.

I’ve used the Toolbar utility to remove the Word Toolbar, then uninstall and reinstall TextAloud 3034, but there’s no way! The toolbar is gone. What can I do now?

If you haven't tried the trouble shooting tips at http://nextup.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?f=15&t=6154 since using the utility and reinstalling, that is probably worth a try.

If the trouble shooting tips do not help, please send me a problem report from the TextAloud main window ... click Help -> Support -> Report A Problem, and just reference this issue in the problem report text.
