Voice dropdown doesn't stick when using mouse scroll

There is a minor problem with the Voice dropdown - if you scroll with the mouse when it's closed instead of selecting from the dropdown list (which I find easier), the selected voice doesn't stick but reverts back to the previously selected voice when you click Speak or Cursor. See screen video here:

Thanks for reporting this and providing the video. The problem with the mouse scroll should be fixed in the next TextAloud update; I'll post here when it is ready to download.

Please try downloading the update at http://www.nextup.com/files/ta3.exe and let me know if it does not fix this problem.

Thanks

Thanks, but after updating I'm now constantly getting errors when selecting a voice directly from the dropdown list. I've sent the error report the program generated (I actually sent it three times as it continued to pop up, it stopped though when I checked the "Terminate Program" box).

I didn't see this error when testing initially, but sure enough I did see it on another machine. I'm not sure what the problem is, but for now I need to back off the scroll wheel fix until I figure out what happened. Please try installing the update at http://www.nextup.com/files/ta3.exe and let me know if you see the problem after updating.

Thanks, it seems to work OK now without the scroll wheel thing of course. It's not a big problem with the scroll wheel, just thought it would be easy to fix. If not, no big deal...
