Advanced Help with Dicoedit?

Is there a true technical reference for dicoedit? I've read the documentation that was posted and have successfully altered some pronunciations for Acapela voices in TextAloud 3, but I'm looking for answers to these questions:

1. numeric emphasis meanings: the numbers 1 and 2 after a phoneme seem to control the primary and secondary accents, but I've seen other numbers (9, for instance) used and they seem to control inflection somewhat. I'd like a complete reference to the numeric emphasis meanings. Also, will TextAloud 3 respond to values other than 1 or 2?

2. The "Type" dropdown seems to allow for a pronunciation for a specific usage. Take "associate" as an example: As a verb, the "ate" is pronounced with a long A, when as a noun ("Bob is our new associate") the "ate" is pronounced as "it". Will TextAloud 3 recognize these differences?

3. Are there other symbols or controls that can be used with dicoedit?

Thanks!
