Text-to-mp3, possible?

Hello,

I have a list of 1000 words to learn, and I'll use flashcards online, only thing is, I can add words (text), but there's no audio.

If I have a list of 1000 words, is it then possible to - automatically - make a thousand audiofiles?

Is there any chance that you will collaborate with a flashcard company any time in the future? (Such as Cram, Memrise, Quizlet, Anki, etc. etc.)

Best thing would be to look at the audio problem you're having first, then see if we can figure out something to create the flashcard mp3 files you're looking for.

To help with troubleshooting the audio problems, first make sure you're running the current version of TextAloud. Click Help -> About from the TextAloud menu, and if you're running a version earlier than 3.0.77, you can download an installer for the current version at http://www.nextup.com/files/ta3.exe. If that doesn't help, the next step would be to take a look at the post on troubleshooting audio problems at http://nextup.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?f=15&t=6077 and see if anything there helps.

If the post doesn't help, please send me a TextAloud problem report. From the TextAloud menu, click Help -> Support -> Report A Problem. In the problem report text, just make a brief reference to this issue.

Thank you for that. I've managed to get your text to voice to work with Anni Flashcards now, and it works brilliantly, thank you for making the software. I wonder though, is the any way I could get a Norwegian language pack for my Android?

We don't currently have anything that runs on Android. There are some Norwegian voices available for Windows if you're interested. See http://www.nextup.com/tanorwegian.html.
