Firefox 40 and TextAloud Toolbar for Firefox

Firefox 40 includes changes that cause compatibility problems with the TextAloud toolbar. We're working on the problem and hope to have it resolved soon.

I'll update this thread with news on progress. You can use the TextAloud clipboard monitor and Hotkeys as an interim solution until we get the toolbar working again.

It is definitely taking longer to fix this than I had hoped. We've actually made some good progress, but still some things to work out.

Keep checking back, I'll post a link for a TextAloud installer containing a beta version of the toolbar as soon as possible.

I was able to get a working TextAloud tool bar by rolling back to Firefox 39

We finally have a beta version of the toolbar ready to try.

The new toolbar is included in TextAloud version 3.0.83.4. To install the new toolbar, update to the latest version of TextAloud, using the installer at http://www.nextup.com/files/ta3.exe. This link always points to the latest TextAloud installer.

I've installed the beta version and so far everything is worked great with no problems.

My version of Firefox is 40.0.3.

its was not working on my mobile ,i downloaded the custom firefox apk

The toolbar for Firefox requires TextAloud to be installed. So currently the toolbar works on Windows only.
