Share pronunciation dictionary between users ?

Can you share pronunciation dictionary between users so they have a common pronunciation base ?

Or maybe change default data folder path to a common one ?

There is currently nothing in place for sharing pronunciation dictionaries, and pronunciation dictionary maintenance currently does not have an import feature.

For now, it is possible to share dictionaries by manually copying dictionary files into your TextAloud dictionaries folder. From the TextAloud menu, click Help -> Open Data Folder, the Dictionaries folder is located here.

You mainly need to be careful copying dictionaries where the dictionaries (or associated dictionary entries) have specific vendor / voice associations. Without an import function, there is no way to validate that dictionaries will work correctly if these associations are used.
