Hi. Is there a way to get the background audio (music) to play whilst you are playing back the speech? - That is, before you have rendered the speech down to an audio file. This would be very handy as you could then synchronise some words to a piece of music, by using pauses etc. Thanks.

Background audio currently works only when writing audio files, there is not a way to get the audio to play while listening to text aloud. We'll look at adding, but for now you'll need to start audio playback manually and sync the best you can.

Selecting the right background music for your TV production, advert or online video is crucial. A carefully chosen backing track has the power to make your content shine: a heart-breaking scene doesn’t pack half the emotional punch without a minor key, just as a fantastic product won’t seem quite as good if it’s showcased by low-quality music
