Turning Off Prosody

Hi. Is there a way to turn off the prosody, so that the words are all pronounced the same way. E.g. Same pitch, with no upward or downward slides. I am asking this because I want to export the resulting wavefile into some pitch-shifting/stretching software for 'singing' purposes and I want the basic intonation to be the same for each word. Thanks.

Prosody is handled at the voice engine level, there isn't really a way to turn it off. You might be able to do what you're looking for by including some punctuation between each word. So for example, separating each word by a semicolon might 'turn off' the prosody.

If you can find a punctuation character that works, you could then create a TextAloud pronunciation dictionary entry that replaces white space in your text with your punctuation character.

That is the only thing I can think of, maybe others will have some ideas.
