I have a hugh number of text files I want to convert into mp3.
Is there a (command-line)tool in TA to convert all files in a folder automatically into mp3 files?

Have you tried using the Batch File Converter in TextAloud? From the TextAloud menu click Tools -> Utilities -> Batch File Converter. You can load the batch converter window with documents from a directory and convert them all to audio files.
