TA3 will not start up

Hello,

I'm legally blind and have been looking for a TTS app to help me out. I recently installed 3 demo apps, including TA3 (build 100) and decided that I preferred TA3. So I uninstalled the other two apps.

Now TA3 will not run. On startup I get an error dialog complaining of an access to memory location 00000000. (Like an initialized pointer or a failed DLL handle...) I've uninstalled TA3, ran CCleaner on the registry, rebooted, reinstalled TA3 multiple times. I've searched the SSD for any remaining application files, etc.

I've contacted Support by email (two times) but not received any reply.

So this is my last ditch effort to get TA3 running again. (Else I will have to move on to another product.)

Can anyone provide insight as to how to fix this issue.

Hi Keith

Sorry about the problems. I wonder if a TextAloud configuration file is corrupt. Try following the instructions at viewtopic.php?f=15&t=6443 to reset all TextAloud configuration options to their defaults. If we have a corrupt file somewhere this should fix it.

Let me know what happens.
