Chrome Extension not able to connect to desktop app

Good evening from Spain.
I have the following problem when clicking a text for beeing read by TextAloud applic.:

Any Ideas :D ?

There is a good chance this is an installation problem. Best thing to do would be to try reinstalling TextAloud 4, using the installer at https://nextup.com/files/ta4.exe.

The install should work with Chrome running, but to be on the safe side here, exit Chrome before running the TA4 install. Let me know if the reinstall doesn't help and we'll do some troubleshooting.

Reinstalled. But now the problem is that Chrome doesn't detect the extension. Even when installing it with "TAToolbarUtility.exe", does nothing.
Is it possible to get ".crx" file to install the extension?

I'll check on the .crx, but please try these instructions first:

1. Exit both TextAloud and Chrome completely
2. Run the TAToolbarUtility. In the top right of the utility window, the version number 1.8 should be displayed. The current version is at https://nextup.s3.amazonaws.com/support ... tility.zip if needed.

3. In the TAToolbarUtility select the radio button for the Chrome extension.
4. Click the Remove button.
5. Start Chrome. We want Chrome to initialize with the extension not present.
6. On the page chrome://extensions verify that the TextAloud extension does not show up.
7. Exit Chrome again.
8. From the toolbar utility, click the Add button to reinstall the extension.

Does the extension appear when you restart Chrome?

Done. No difference. Chrome doesn't show the extension yet.
Even rebooting Windows after the reinstallation.
I executed the "...utility.exe" as Administrator.

Would you please try the utility again, and *not* run as administrator? It may make a difference, the utility should run with the necessary permissions.

If this doesn't help, would you submit a problem report from the TextAloud main window? From the main menu click Help -> Support -> Report A Problem, and just make a brief reference to this issue in the problem report text.

Done without administrator mode.
Same result.

Would you go ahead and send the problem report from the TextAloud main window (Help -> Support -> Report A Problem). I'm not sure what could be causing this problem, and the problem report may have some clues.
