ScanSoft RealSpeak Voice Installation Requirements


Thanks or your purchase of ScanSoft voices from NextUp.com.  Because of legal restrictions, these voices can only be installed on a computer with a purchased version of TextAloud, NextUp Talker, or another of our Aloud products. 

If you are receiving an error preventing you from installing your new voice, the installer was unable to verify a registered copy of one of the above programs.  If you have already purchased one of those product, make sure you have downloaded and installed the program, and entered the registration code you received when purchasing.   If this was done and the error continues, you may need to download an updated version of the program from

Vista Note: If you purchased RealSpeak voices before the release of Vista, have already installed and registered TextAloud, and are getting this page when trying to install the voices on Vista, we have a fix for you, please email support@nextup.com
